收藏: Stirling Engine

The Stirling engine is an efficient heat engine that generates power by heating gas with an external heat source. Its working principle is relatively simple:

  1. Heating and Expansion: The working gas (such as air) in a sealed cylinder is heated by an external heat source, causing the gas to expand.
  2. Work Generation: The expanded gas pushes one or more pistons, converting thermal energy into mechanical energy.
  3. Cooling and Compression: The gas then flows to a cooling area where it cools and contracts.
  4. Cycle Repetition: The cooled gas is sent back to the heating area to continue the cycle.

This process is continuously repeated in a closed cycle, producing a consistent output. The advantage of the Stirling engine is that it can use any type of heat source and operates smoothly with high efficiency.
