16-Cylinder Stirling Engine Model
16-Cylinder Stirling Engine Model
Introducing the 16-Cylinder Stirling Engine Model: A Marvel of Mechanical Engineering
Discover the wonders of thermodynamics with our 16-Cylinder Stirling Engine Model, a meticulously designed showpiece. Resting on a robust wood base and adorned with a front-mounted propeller, this model embodies the harmony of beauty and engineering prowess, presenting an excellent choice for aficionados and budding minds.
Key Features:
-
Innovative External Combustion Engine: Unlike traditional internal combustion engines, our Stirling engine functions with an external heat source. It uses the expansion of air, helium, or hydrogen, which is heated and then cooled in a discrete chamber, facilitating a highly efficient regenerative cycle.
-
Superior Efficiency: Our Stirling engine excels in efficiency due to its continuous combustion process, producing less noise, virtually no pollution, and lower running costs compared to traditional engines.
-
Adaptable Performance: Designed to perform optimally at various altitudes, our engine is versatile for a wide range of geographical settings.
-
Educational Insight: This engine is not just a model; it's a dynamic educational device that illustrates aerodynamic and thermodynamic principles, encouraging interactive learning among students and hobbyists.
-
Exquisite Mechanism: The engine showcases a sophisticated floating bead linkage connecting 8 hot and 8 cold cylinders, energized by air heat. With 8 heating tubes and flame outlets, the stainless steel heating cylinders ignite to produce a mesmerizing visual effect.

-
Flywheel Check: Before starting, ensure the flywheel turns smoothly when positioned horizontally. If you encounter any stiffness, address it by inspecting the connecting rods and removing any excess oil or debris.
-
Butane Gas Lamp Preparation: Fill the lamp with butane gas, commonly available as lighter refill gas (please note that butane gas is not included with this model and should be procured separately by the customer due to international shipping restrictions on flammable substances).
-
Ignition and Operation: Light the butane gas lamp and allow the engine to heat for approximately 30 seconds. Then, adjust the fuel tank knob to regulate the flame, which in turn controls the engine speed and starts the propeller.
-
Post-Operation Care: Once you have finished using the engine, extinguish the flame and wait for the engine to cool down completely before attempting to touch or move it.
