Instructions for Operating the Steam Boiler and Safety Guidelines

Assembly Steps:

Step 1: Connecting the Boiler and Steam Engine

• This steam boiler comes with nylon trachea and M5 connector, known for their heat and pressure resistance. As boiler and steam engine manufacturers differ, direct compatibility is not always possible. To ensure a successful connection, users may need to replace quick joints, elbows, and copper pipes based on practical needs.

Step 2: Water Addition

• Carefully unscrew the safety valve and pour boiling water into the cylinder, ensuring not to exceed the maximum water level. It’s crucial to use pure water to prevent impurities from clogging the piston, which could hinder the machine's performance. After filling, securely reinstall and tighten the safety valve.

Step 3: Heating the Boiler

• Retrieve the alcohol lamp from the package, ensuring the wick extends no less than 15mm from the cap. Fill the lamp with alcohol (concentration above 75%) up to two-thirds of its capacity, placing it directly under the boiler. Ensure the alcohol lamp cover is securely closed to prevent leakage. Light the lamp to heat the boiler. Wait at least 5 minutes after adding water for it to fully boil and generate sufficient steam. Avoid starting the steam engine before boiling to maintain steam pressure.

Safety Precautions:

1. Boiler Heating: Never heat the boiler if the water level is below the minimum mark.

2. Safety Distance: Avoid peering from above the chimney during heating and keep all body parts clear of the chimney to prevent flame outbursts.

3. Avoiding Burns: Do not touch the boiler body, chimney, or any hot parts during operation. Be cautious of high-temperature steam emitted by the machine.

4. Extinguishing Alcohol Lamp: To extinguish the alcohol lamp, cover the chimney with a non-flammable object to cut off oxygen. If the lamp does not extinguish, use a wet towel for insulation and carefully remove the lamp, covering the flame with a ceramic cap until it goes out. Be cautious when handling an overheated alcohol lamp.

5. Alcohol Safety: Strictly adhere to safety protocols when using alcohol. Children must operate the alcohol lamp under adult supervision. In case of accidental leakage and fire, follow alcohol product instructions for safe and prompt handling.
